Something About Me and My Book:
I've been writing for 23 years. After high school I took my interest in the Titanic and wrote a play/lecture which I performed for 8 years. My written pride and joy is Chronicles of the Dragons Bane, my homage to the great epic poems. It's based upon my interests in Mythology and History. I've been writing it for almost 20 years, have a line of merchandise out, inspired fellow classmates to read more, and am currently looking into developing an animated tv series based on the book

DEDICATIONS

This book is a companion piece to my novel “Chronicles of the Dragons Bane” and is a wonderful example on the importance of motivation. I wish to take a few moments and acknowledge those who motivated me to this level:

In memory of my father William E. Brower Sr. (7/26/47-4/15/08) who taught me that history always starts with… Continue

BOOK III: THE SEEDS OF WAR

PROLOGUE

Ten years have passed since the blessed arrival of Phillip’s son Haraden. Within

The walls of the great castle, life was routine and quiet, outside of the perimeter

Though rumors spread. Word of an army striking the Northern realm was spoken

In hushed tones among campfires and dinner tables. King Harrison passed into

Immortality in the autumn of the eighth year… Continue

Hello William,
Thanks for your note. I haven't read Silent Night, but I know it is about the Christmas truce in 1914 that the authorities clamped down on in case it stopped their lovely war - a very sad business.
Have you read Lyn MacDonald's book 1914: The Days of Hope ? Well worth it if you haven't. I used a lot of historical information from that in my book.

Best wishes,

Ralph
