- I'm an award winning short story writer. "With Firm Hearts" is my second full length novel. My first, "The Originals", is about the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry during World War One. I reside in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, with his wife and daughter.
My newest book, "With Firm Hearts" treks back to the past to one of history’s most unforgettable eras. It compellingly relives the struggles to create and train a Canadian army, culminating at their baptism of fire in the spring of 1915. Driven by historic characters and events, it chronicles not only the strategy and operations of the war, but also the fears, desires, and sentiments of the story’s characters.
