BOOK REVIEW BY TODD RUTHERFORD BOOK GURU

The Lost of the Great White Throne: The Message Behind the Story

Pastor Denise Gotautis’ The Lost of the Great White Throne is an action-packed entertainer, full of murder, adultery, and stock-market-fueled suicides resulting from rising satanic influences. The book is more than mere entertainment, though, as it intends to alert all that the end of time is approaching, and the Christian believer will be manipulated and put to the ultimate test of faith.

Purely out of interest for mankind, Pastor Denise Gotautis states that each individual that fails to serve Jesus will be held accountable when the time comes to face God’s Throne. More importantly, the message behind the story is that God does not hate his children; he only hates the sin that has tempted them into indulgence.

Those who have faith in God will not be afraid to die; they don’t “fear those who can kill the body, but he fears the one who can cast body and soul into hell.” This theory is taken to the ultimate test multiple times in The Lost of the Great White Throne, and serves to reinforce the power of God. For example, one of the main characters, Beverly False is shot dead while trying to convince David False to seek the Lord. Beverly states, “David False he died for you, and loves you, all you have to do is ask him to come in your heart, and be your Lord and savior it is just that simple David. He will give you peace come as you are…”

Kill the body, argues Pastor Gotautis, but the soul will walk in Heaven if it has accepted Christ. Gotautis describes Beverly’s ascension to heaven, stating, “Immediately she was in the presence of a tall robed stranger, who was brilliant like the sun guiding her towards a beautiful gate. As she walked she observed her clothing it was radiant white, she felt joy unspeakable as she proceeded.”

Believers and non-believers alike will cross over and stand before the “tall robed stranger.” Whether they walk towards a beautiful gate or the raging inferno of Hell will be determined at that time. The bottom line is that Satan will do everything he can in the meantime to influence and entice mankind into being destroyed; it is his mission.
