The time is the mid-1960s, and at the world famous Homestead Resort and Hotel in Hot Springs, Virginia, a prominent, politically connected businessman is abducted and subsequently killed. The abduction and murder are first reported by the editor of a newspaper in a small town near Hot Springs, and the killings soon become worldwide news. Working with the hotel's attractive PR woman, the newspaper editor does the leg work that eventually leads to the murderer - but in the process he uncovers the hotel's discriminatory anti-Semitic policies, as well as the existence of a ring of Nazis operating out of Washington, D.C., and in the Virginia mountains...
