First Annual “Author and Book Festival” at Collier County South Regional Library February 21, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
On Saturday, February 21st, over 30 local authors are participating in the first annual “Author and Book Festival” at Collier County’s South Regional Library Branch which is located at 8065 Lely Cultural Pkwy.
This event is free and open to the public, beginning at 10:00 a.m. and running through 2:00 p.m. Authors will introduce their newest works and copies will be available for purchase and signing. Author tables will be found in alphabetical order.
Six breakout sessions, 20 minutes each, begin at 11:00 a.m., starting with D. K. Christi, author of “Bamboo Ring” and “Ghost Orchid,” followed by Jean Erlbaum, “ Sit With Less Pain,” Arlene Levin, “My Culinary Journey,” Len Solo, “A Symphony of the Ordinary,” Lisa Trebilcock, “N is for Naples,” and Suzi Weinert, “Garage Sale Stalker.”
For this first year, the committee selected a diverse group of writers and are pleased to have topics that will be of interest to the community: sailor/traveler, fitness, culinary, poetry, children, and made for TV.
This free event is a great chance to meet exciting Florida authors and become familiar with their books, even taking home a signed copy.
