The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Writers tend to be readers. Besides books on writing, what do you read? Where do you like to read?

I'll start.

I just finished reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and just starting The Diamond Cutter: The Buddha on Managing Your Business and Your Life by Geshe Michael Roach.

At one time I'd have 4-6 books going at one time. I'm finding I don't take the time to read as I use to.

Places I enjoy reading ~ at the park, in a rocker by the window, in bed before sleep and in the rest/washroom.

How about you?

Thank you Nicole.
Currently, Sell Your Book on Amazon by Brent Sampson, and The Apocalypse Code by Hank Hanegraaff.
Revvell,
I love to read too and do so all day long for others. For myself, though, I read non-fiction and right now I'm reading Writing Turkey about Turkish history, politics and culture. The other book I just started is Married to a Bedouin about a New Zealander who ended up marrying a Bedouin man. I love these types of books.
For you, my lady, if you love Paul's work, then you must read Women Who Run with the Wolves by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. If you haven't read Robin Sharma, try it because you'll get both adventure and soul messages.
On this overly hot day, the sea and a good book beckons me. Happy reading!
Hi Bea!

Thank you for the response. I did (Do?) have Women Who Run with the Wolves. Started reading it YEARS ago but never finished it. With 15 book cases, hard to keep track of what I still have. I'll see if I still have it. Maybe it's time I read through it. Thank you for the suggestion.

I'm unfamiliar with Robin Sharma. I will check him out. What you're reading sounds quite interesting. Maybe I should write one on being married to a Dane... although it may not be as interesting.. not living in Dk. My husband might love the Writing Turkey about Turkish History. He lived there for two years.

Thank you again!

I love to read anything I can get my hands on, as long as it is a book. I am not big on magazines or newspapers.

I love reading anything metaphysical/spiritual both fiction and non-fiction. The three books that I recommend to people are: 1. The 4 Agreements by don Miquel Ruiz; 2. The Dance of Anger (or The Dance of Intimacy) by Harriet Lerner, Ph.D.; and 3. Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson, M.D.

Usually what I read is heavy so I enjoy reading the Janet Evanovich series when I want something light. Also the Dearest Dorothy series by Charlene Baumbich.
I read Daneilla steeel and romntic books
of course my hot favourite anyday is
Pride and prejiduce
