Blogging Your Book

I've been blogging a new version of a book that I once wrote on the civil rights history of the Mississippi Delta. I can't seem to get comments -- and I want them to add the feel of a live blog to this book. I've been asking people to blog and I know that I have readers. Any ideas would be very helpful.
