Have you ever had a Virtual Book Launch? How'd you pull it off?

I'm working with my event coordinator and coming up with a plan to do a virtual book launch. I didn't do a formal launch for my last book and am excited about doing it for this one. How'd you do it? Was it successful? Useful? Got tips? Lesson Learned? Tools? Give me the skinny :-D

Yes, I have done it and I learned a lot. Was it successful? Not really. Your launch letter should be attractive and original. Don't send it out as bulk mail. My subject line read: Chloe's serving launch and you're invited.

I'm trying an experiment where I put author's press releases on my blog. It is a chance to have another listing for you book on the web.
