The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Hi All,

When I started writing my first book the most difficult task for me was to search a publisher who can publish my work. There was no such a platform that would help me to search for the publisher and I had to resort to old methods of searching for a publisher for me. However, the time has changed a lot, due to the advancement in internet technology, the situation has improved a lot, a large number of publishing websites are available to ease out the situation. Any websites that you know? Do you have any experience with such websites?

It's best to start out searching for agents before going to publishers directly. Most publishers don't take submissions from writers without agents. It's easy to search for literary agents. A good site is Agentquery.com
You can search agents by their genre and qualifications. AQ also gives beginners great advice about how to make a great query letter and other things they should know.

If you don't know much about how the publishing industry works, I suggest you research and study it as much as possible so that you won't find yourself caught up in any scams.

Remember this, avoid any pubs or agents who ask for money. Reputable publishers and agents DO NOT charge money.

Best Wishes!
