I'll bet I could go on longer . . . LOL But I'm happy now. My friends at the British Fantasy Society got my book today and pinged me to let me know. Yay! I "lovez" me some BFS!

Well, I'm not big on "asking" for reviews. I do encourage folks who rave to me about how much they enjoyed the story to leave some feedback for others to see. However I tell them to NEVER feel obligated. I could care less how many reviews I have. I only write for others to enjoy. If they can relay that to me directly, then my day is made. If they want to share it on a review site then then of course that's grand too. Other than that, most reviewers want a "free" copy of the book and I pay way too much to get a book together and in the best shape it can be in to "give" them away for something I usually get without asking. ;) Large publishers have turned publishing into a big game and I'm sick to my stomach at their over-the-top-let's-make-this-author-a-legend publicity crap! No small publisher can compete with them and they know it. *Sue snaps out of it.* Oh--uh--yeah, anyway, that's my take on reviews. LOL

Hi Amy,

Thanks for the friend invite.

Writing historical fiction is what I love best, so good to meet another writer who loves the genre. Even when I try other genres I find myself sliding toward historical. Of course I love researching, and it's great to special little details that fit perfectly with the story.

Thanks so much again.  One Pelican at a Time is the first book in the Bella and Britt Series.  The next book, Bella Saves the Beach, will be launched within the next two months.  The third, Sea Turtle Summer, will be published soon after.  The fourth, which was just finished, Mystery at Manatee Key, is due out in October, 2012.

I would be delighted to have you review any of the books!  Many thanks again.

You must be getting smoke from the two big fires in Arizona. We seem to be getting some smoke from the Wallow fire near Alpine, AZ.

Thanks for the happy Memorial Day message. Had a good Memorial Day. But now challenged with a forest fire just south of Taos. Some bad smoke coming our way.
