Authors Working Together to Sell More Books

"Your life changes when you meet people." - Sterling Valentine

I want to encourage the authors and publishers on this Book Marketing Network to work together to help each other to sell more books. That's the main reason I created this network in the first place.

There are so many ways that you can help each other. For example, I wrote an article on 30 Ways to Help a Book Author You Love - http://www.bookmarket.com/loveawriter.htm. Most of those ways apply not only to your friends but also to authors helping each other.

In addition, you can do joint ventures, Amazon Bestseller Campaigns, blog tours, and more.

Please use this forum right here to list your requests for partners as well as your responses or offers to help other authors.

You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish if you work together rather than alone.

For example, I'd love to see a fiction writers co-op promotion where each novelist promotes the other members in the co-op on their blog or website or social network. Tweet about each other. Like each others' Facebook page. Do joint blog tours.

Poets can do the same thing. So can business book authors. Spiritual authors. Christian authors. Cookbook authors. Etc.

Looking for book bloggers to do a review for my self-help relationship book "Before the Lights Go Out:11 Keys to Achieve Real Physical Intimacy"  See below for a short synoposis of the book.  If  you are interested, please reply back to me.  Thanks

Book synopis:
If your idea of foreplay includes candlelight dinner, rose petals and whip cream, you are misguided. We have been focusing only on the physical while we are neglecting the emotional and spiritual needs of our mate. This neglect has lead to dissolving relationships, conflicts in the marriage, and internal struggles. In Before the Lights Go Out, I outlined eleven keys to enhance foreplay, which will develop the intimacy in your relationship, thus allowing you to form a tighter bond with your mate. For single ladies, it is a guide to help you choose the ideal man for a queen like you because any man won't do. In other words, what is he bringing to the table besides himself? For married couples, this book will force you to look into introspection: examining yourselves and retrospection; examining your past to see where you went wrong and what you can do going forward to fix it. The key to a long lasting relationship is establishing intimacy, which mean knowing if he/she is "into you": body, mind and spirit. We will leave the lights on a bit longer to begin the emotional and spiritual journey towards a better you and a better relationship with your mate.

You can now announce your blog tours and virtual book tours here: http://thebookmarketingnetwork.com/group/blog-tours-only.

Include any guest post requests, asking for book reviews as part of a blog tour, locating other bloggers who will host your blog tour, etc.

Enjoy.

John,

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I am always looking for blog hosts for myself and my authors.

John I enthusiastically agree and have encouraged the authors I work with to promote one another. I have produced book trailers for three authors with action/adventure spy thrillers. I introduced them to each other and they have worked to cross promote. If you like one of their books you'll probably be interested in the other two.

I'm a new Author/Illustrator of Children books. My Books are called Ed's Journal which is a series of 32. Corrently I have 4 and 5,6 and 7 will be out this year.  So far I'm doing pretty good in my little area, however I would rarely like to start moving on and start growing the books. http://www.edsjournal.com is my website and I'm looking for some help on getting the word out more on the books.

Thanks for any help and god bless everyone here.

Hello all!

I have written a personal style / fashion book, which is getting the once over by an editor right now, and will soon be laid out and self-published (CS). At any rate, I am building a site around the book and am planning to include lots of resources regarding fashion, style and self-confidence. (Please note, the book image attached is not the final cover, just a "place holder" until I can get it done professionally)

If you have a book regarding one of those topics i would love to feature you. I could do a blog post about your book, or if you'd prefer to send a short article including info about your book, that would be fine too. I am targeting women 25-44 who are interested in fashion, shopping, and clothing and probably blog or read blogs about those topics.

The site is www.styleclarity.com and I can be contacted there, or here. :) I will be doing some heavy google ad words and facebook ads promoting for the site soon. We shall see what happens!

This website is such a good idea, as I have said for a long time 'We authors should stick together'. It's wonderful to see something like this where we can help each other.

Thanks for enjoying this site. It was designed for authors to help each other and to join together to sell more books.
