You Can Write—Really! is a fun and practical book designed for beginner writers who need a boost of motivation and simple instructions on how to get started.
Each easy-to-read chapter is based on my 15 years of experience as a writer, advice I’ve received over the years, and the technical “know-how” I’ve gained in writing classes and workshops. I walk you through the writing process, covering the basics of plotting, editing, revising, and submitting. In addition, I explore ways to get your creativity flowing, explain where authors really get ideas, and show you how to create interesting characters for your story.
Also included are helpful tips all writers can use, plus fun writing exercises to get you motivated.

Hi All!
Just a quick intro from a new kid on the block!
I wrote a Biography called "I Found Someone to Play With"
Larry LeGrande the Last Member of the Satchel Paige All-Stars. Larry was an outfield star in our country’s historical American Negro League. He later befriended and barnstormed with one of Major League Baseball’s most legendary greats, Satchel Paige. Larry was a consistent .300-plus hitter with the ability to hit the ball to all fields, home run power, impeccable speed, and a rocket arm that earned the selection of two East-West All-Star games in 1958 and 1959.
He played for the Memphis Red Sox (1957), Detroit Stars (Detroit Clowns) (1958), Kansas City Monarchs/NY Yankees Minor League/St. Petersburg Saints (1959) and went on to play with the Satchel Paige All-Stars (1960–1964).
This book is based on a series of interviews with Larry LeGrande and shaped into his life journey. Historical events and climate are sprinkled into this incredible true story to give the reader a sense of external forces that hovered and sometimes threatened people who lived, worked and played in the era of this country we know as the United States of America.
Thanks for stopping by! Give me a Like when you have a moment.
