D. K. Christi's fiction novel Bamboo Ring launches December 11 - a story of mixed wires and crossed connections set in S. Korea at the end of Vietnam.  Traversing the countries that jump out from today's headlines - Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Egypt - does not fill the ache in a heart twisted by love and obsession.  The worlds of ex-patriots, Koreans and U.S. Military weave a web of passion and adventure for an international tapestry in exotic, foreign locations.  Bamboo Ring sets the back story for the already published and popular Ghost Orchid, yet it tells its own tale of love that unravels the life of a perfect wife and mother.

Friends of the Library at Lakes Park Regional Library, Fort Myers hosts D. K. Christi after their scheduled luncheon meeting to share the inspiration for her writing and sign books following.
