Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:
My first novel, Code Name: ORION'S EYE - a story set from June to Nov 1943 based on real people and events woven around the sinking of the SS Cape San Juan - a spy chase and wartime action.
My second novel, A Voyage Beyond Reason, is based on the real-life survival adventure of Ben Wade ("coach" on Survivor-Tocantins). This 408 page story, only slightly fictionalized, records the adventures and psychological challenges of the 24 year old Wade during 6 months solo in a kayak along the South American coast.
The author, Tom Gauthier, spend nearly 40 years lecturing and teaching around the world on personal and organizational development. His sense of place (first person experiences) and knowledge of human motivation drives authenticity into the script. Tom Gauthier holds a doctorate in Psychology.
