Something About Me and My Book:: Shakeena Whitmore born in New Jersey, currently residing in South Carolina with her husband Byris, and her daughter Latyrah. Shakeena has a heart for God and his people, and above all she wants the youth to come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

My book is about my journey through a troubled childhood to redemption. A diffucult childhood forced me to grow up too fast. Pregnant at 14, I became so overwhelmed with the challenges I faced that I was driven to attempt suicide at the age of 16. Throughout all of my struggles, my life was complicated by her inability to believe in God. Finally at the age of 20 I gave my life to Christ and things began to change for her. I share my hardships and victories as I navigate through disorder to deliverance
