I've finished the book I wrote about on 13 June.  "The Mask of Freya," set in the French Revolution of 1848, is about a small, secret sect of pagan nature worshipers, devotees of the Cat-Goddess Freya, suffering persecution by governmental and religious Establishment officials.  Their struggle for religious freedom is complicated by the chaos of the Revolution, a case of double murder, and attacks by the forces of Satan and the Fire God Loki.  Fortunately, some of the pagans can magically turn into animals, the better to carry on their quest for freedom.  There's a flashback to the days of Attila the Hun, a good guy....  On sale by for $14.45; the e-book edition, $1.25, is for sale on Kindle, Smashwords, and Nook.  Karl Larew
