On the other hand, I have for sale on Amazon, Kindle, Smashwords and nook two spoofs of vampire/werewolf/James Bond stories, "Bad Vampires" and "Nazi Werewoofs."  I don't know if this forum wants spoofs.  They aren't really about pagans, but maybe some of you might be interested.

I am working on the final (?) draft of a novel about pagans, some of them with supernatural powers, during the French Revolution of 1848 as they struggle for survival against the official religion of France (Christianity) on the one hand and Satanism on the other.  Title is "The Mask of Freya."  Wish me luck.  I'm trying to avoid writing in a stilted, mid-19th century manner just because the book is about mid-19th century people!

I’m working

on a new book, a collection of poems; I have several young poets joining me in this collection.
The book will be poems and a few essays relating only to the suffering and torment endured by those who were treated badly by the church, the inquisition and the governments of the middle ages, on through today’s times.  Of course, not all suffering resulted in death, and not all torment attacked the body physically. I’m interested in works that speak to the mental, social and emotional torture as well as the physical.
It is my hope that each piece in the book will bring chills, visions, tears and shudders to the reader. I’ve written a few pieces myself, that have caused me copious tears while writing them, and I’m looking for more work that will do the same.
My arrangement with all my contributors is this: they will share in the proceeds of the book according to the word count of their contribution, against the word count of the entire manuscript. That is, if a poet’s work encompasses 250 words, and the manuscript holds a total of 2500 words, the poet will receive 10% of the book’s revenue. Royalties are received quarterly, and will be distributed in that way, by me, personally.

If you have an interest in being a part of this project, please let me know by direct email, to, and tell me, in that email that you heard about the project on the Book Marketing Network. I will want to see samples of your work before I can commit to accepting anything.

Spring Equinox (tomorrow) and the pub date of the new Tarot book:

Well gang, it is official.

I just got home from work to find a package from the UPS. BookSurge came through at the last minute, just like the calvary in those cheesy old western movies.

They rushed the proof out 2nd day air so it would arrive today, as I am scheduled to "approve" the proof copy tomorrow, thereby setting the pub date in stone to be the Spring Equinox of 2009.

This day almost never came. The number of delays, mishaps, arguments, and stalemates ("we CAN'T publish it as you have written it") that required near-divine intervention (the V.P. of the publisher is near-divine when it comes to a book being published or not) are now a part of legend. In the end we all got together and sang Kumbaya, and worked our collective butts off to get this book out on time.

(I haven't opened the box yet--it could be a phonebook--as that is about how big the new book is :-) They might have tricked me. Well, we will just have to see whether BookSurge will remain "my publisher . . .

Blessssssssssed bees!

Wow! A true pagan author group! Well I for one am happy to be here. As an exclusive offer to members of this group (fellow pagan authors), if anyone would like a free copy of my new newest book "The Easiest Way to Learn the Tarot--EVER!!" drop me a note. I am looking for reviews naturally, and I think you will enjoy it. I will even pay the shipping. It is 300 pages though, so I would appreciate serious inquiries only please.

As always, I am more than happy to help other pagan authors in any way I can.
