The Puppet Master
Coop, a former Marine fighter pilot, is the owner of Cooper International LLC, a private investigative firm. The success of the company has been phenomenal and has attracted clients throughout the world.
Coop, a patriotic man, lives his mantra: To defend his country from all enemies both foreign and domestic. A wealthy man by birth; a private investigator by choice; a patriot by destiny, Coop is once again thrust into action when he does a favor for his best friend, Congressman-elect Scott Harrison. It is a simple favor, that of checking the background of the Congressman-elect’s potential staff. That seemingly straightforward task leads Coop and his organization into a quagmire of political intrigue: a seventy-year-old conspiracy to change the foundation of the United States’ government.
Coop’s adversary is not his usual nemesis, but one residing within the government. In 1965 a brilliant young woman, a pure ideologist, rose to power bringing a determination to achieve her legacy. Her tactics would challenge Coop’s skills as a private investigator as her ploy spirals out of control.
