I have always had a dream of becoming a writer. But to help support my family, I worked as a custodian in a local school district for many years. Even while working, my creative mind wouldn't rest. I constantly jotted down thoughts and ideas for a novel, whether it was with pen and paper or crayon on paper towel.
Due to budget cuts, I lost my position as a custodian, causing a financial setback. Both despite and because of this and with my husband's love and support I have been given the opportunity to pursue my dream. I finally graduated from "jotting" on a paper towel to creating my vision in my first novel.
I live in South Eastern Michigan with my husband, a spoiled dog named Molly, 2 cats and a mouthy parrot, inaptly named Sweet Pea.
I am currently working on her next novel.
