Something About Me and My Book:
Ikenna Ezuma, born to Michael and Philomena Ezuma, is a published writer and novelist; was the Managing Editor of a local tabloid, The Eye Newspaper; and had worked as an Account Reconciliation Assistant for UBA Registry in Broad Street, Lagos. He is a graduate of English Language and Literature.
Among his many written articles and novels are an allegory, Moonlight Tales from Africa (also rewritten with the subtitle: Tombra); Social Wars! (an animated fiction), Something In The Offing (a sizzling drama of passion and power play), and Halo. The Queen's Gambit is his third major written work.

About my book: The Queen's Gambit
The Queen's Gambit is an epic classic set in a spirited African kingdom, in the early times when the Benin Empire reigned supreme between the South-South and the South-West regions of Nigeria.
In this tragic tale, the timeless conflict between the forces of good and of evil plays out when a man, overcome by blind ambition, allows greed to possess his will and in the process desecrates the land. But unknown to the people, beyond their borders, far across the great river and in a foreign land, lies the only hope of the kingdom....
Like a fast-paced movie, this compelling story, packed with unsuspecting twists and intriguing suspense, is sure to hold you spell bound from the very first flip of the page. It is a promise!

Mena Ginika graduates from the University with top grades, but her heart has been so severely bruised that it turns cold towards men folk, but found solace in hard work. She joins the family's conglomerate, and becomes a major obstacle to the Williams' family, an obstacle Damijo Williams must remove if he is to achieve his lifelong ambition of seizing control over UBCI.

Something In The Offing is an intriguing story of passion and power play set in the Nigeria finance industry between the post colonial era of the early seventies and present day 21st century. In this pulsating sequel, a refusal to a passionate love appeal turns into a seething hatred, spanning from one generation into the next in which the final scores must be known.

Ever wondered what it might be like watching a super, action movie flick set in a spirited African kingdom? Well, here's your chance to delight and entertain yourself with this epic, classic crime fiction. It's impressive…
