Something About Me and My Book:: Leona DeRosa Bodie is the award-winning author of the suspense novel SHADOW CAY and four illustrated children's books. She was born in New Jersey, but lived in Massachusetts and California. A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Leona's career took her from high school English teacher to biotechnology corporate executive and president of the Greater Miami Society of Human Resource Management before she shifted to writing books. She is Vice President of the Treasure Coast Writers Guild, a Group Leader for the Florida Writers Association and lives in Florida with her husband Walt, a Miami-Dade forensic specialist. She is currently working on a sequel to SHADOW CAY, which is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
