I am very excited about my book, Tangling with Tyrants: Managing the Balance of Power at Work. Working in Human Resources has provided me several opportunities to learn how people interact and form workplace relationships. Of these relationships, the one between boss and employee is the most critical. In fact, the #1 issue I have coached people on focuses on how to deal with a difficult and demanding boss.
I decided to combine my experiences and field-tested techniques into this book. I show people how to indentify the “Tyrant” profile, practice through personal exercises, and ultimately build the right communication approach to form new ways of working and reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
I enjoy coaching teams and individuals to discover how to collaborate better and find sustainable results.
