The Witches Almanac has just printed an anniversary edition of Charles Godfrey Leland’s Aradia: Gospel of the Witches. It contains an introduction, written by Professor Robert Mathieson, and after the entire original text is presented, an appendix is included titled “Modern Perspectives on Aradia: Gospel of the Witches”. Many of today’s most knowledgeable authors are in this appendix, and I’m very proud to announce that I am among them! Each author presents their own view of Leland, and his work on this book. Besides me, you will find opinions from Lori Bruno, Jimahl Di Fiosa, Raven Grimassi, Mike Howard, Paul Huson, Judika Illes, Leo Louis Martello, Chrisina Oakley Harrington, Christopher Penczak, Andrew Theitic, Donald Weiser and Myth Woodliing.
I hope you will pick up a copy of this new edition, to read along with my own translation of Leland’s work, for your bookshelf. The ISBN is 978-0-9824323-5-8, and I’m certain you will find it at your local bookstore, or online at your favorite internet book shop.
Lest you forget, my own translation is titled “Aradia, Gospel of the Witches, Retold”, and is available on Amazon.com and at my storefront, at http://stores.lulu.com/deliathecrone
