Designing Eye-Catching Book Covers: Some Personal Insights

People judge books by covers. That's the reality. We do it ALL THE TIME. For an author trying to market a book, this means that your cover is just as important as what's written inside. It's what hooks readers to stop and notice...or to pass your book by and look somewhere else.

As a traditionally published author now turned indie, I put a lot of time and effort into the design of my covers. I start well before I've finished writing a book and I give the process, quite literally, months of thought and effort.
