For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers
At thirteen years old, in 1970, my life came to a disastrous halt when my mother and two younger sisters were killed in an Air Canada plane crash.
Repairing Rainbows was published in June 2010 and has received an out-pour of support from press across Canada.
Repairing Rainbows is about so much more than tragedy – it is about family, love, hope, gratitude, and most especially, choices.
As a very young teen, I made a conscious decision to become happy and to lead a fulfilled life. I was committed to learning, growing and making a difference. Determined to find meaning and purpose in my life, I managed to muster up the courage and strength to dream big, to be idealistic, to strive for more, and to live a meaningful life where I could make a difference in the lives of others.
I am the owner and director of Adventure Valley Day Camp in Toronto. I have devoted a lifetime to organized camping and am passionate about the positive role of camping in a person’s life. As a social worker with vast experience in dealing with children, I have served in other leadership positions outside of my camping profession, and I am a motivational and inspirational speaker and facilitator.
