Is there a market for reprints of my newspaper editorials in book form?

For several years I have had articles published locally in my town newspaper. I see strangers on the street that recognize my name and ask if I am the one "who writes those article?s" So I have been wondering if there might be a market for a collection of them since they seem to be appreciated. Mostly political, they tend to be half page and up to about 2,000 words each.

I once had a politicaian running for office shake my hand to introduce himself. I gave him my name and he asked if I was the same Glen Spicer who has articles in the newspaper. I replied yes and he said, "Let me shake your hand again. It is so good to meet you. I read all your articles and totally agree with what you write." This leads me to believe I might be ignoring a new book. What do you think?
