Men's clothing preferences

Men have varying clothing preferences, just like women but then I'm just kind of curious on how they pick their thing. There are men who definitely feel good wearing tuxedos and some on the other hand satisfy themselves to the comfort of jeans and shirt. The other day, I bought my fiance a pinstripe suits, and know what he did, he shoved it in a corner. He irritated me, but what can I do if he really didn't like wearing one?
