The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

I'd like to start a new forum where people can talk about what's working for you right now in marketing your book.

I think this will help other authors to prioritize their activities if they can find out what's working for other people. This would be especially valuable to new authors.

I've share the hottest tool that I'm using right now. And that's Twitter. As you will note on the main page of this Book Marketing Network website, both my http://www.bookmarket.com website and this network have been rising in Alexa ranks (and visits) because of my use of Twitter.

I have the opportunity to set up several book signing sessions.  Has this proven beneficial to anyone?  Does it help to any degree to either sell books or to just get you name out there?

Book signing sessions and getting your name out there, both help, but making it as a best-selling author isn't easy and nigh unto impossible.

I just want some people to read my book. I will have at least 2 more out by the end of 2015. I would just like to optimize my readership. I have sold about 30 in two or three weeks. That was a thrill.

Good for you. Sounds like you're on your way to success as an author!

Honestly - nothing.

I have written three novels, I have one on Amazon presently, with a good review from the sole person that bought it, and sales afterward have been zip.

Good thing I don't have to make a living at this.

Well, I have been using social media also some good PR.

You can also include linkedin and g+.

Frederick, I think your book is going to appeal to a niche market. You are going to need to find the vehicle to reach your audience.
