Book trailers can make a difference

                With regard to the recent release of my ebook novel, The Spear of Lepanto Books I&II, I have worked on this project since 1999. I must tell you in all honestly that this project could only have been accomplished through the grace of God. This is a story for every Christian of every denomination. The Battle of Lepanto in 1571 saved Europe, Catholic and Protestant alike, from annihilation and the end of Christianity as we know it today.

                In 2005 I completed Book I of the story and decided to self publish the book. If it was successful, I would begin work on the second half of the story. Well, within 6 months I sold all 500 copies I had published and garnered some excellent reviews to boot. In April of 2010, I finally finished Book II along with a revised version of Book I. Around that time I opened a retail business which temporarily diverted my plans to seek a publisher and promote the newly completed book.

               My prayers were emphatically answered recently when a friend of mine took my suggestion and wrote a song with music and lyrics for the novel. Upon hearing it, I named it the Ballad of The Spear of Lepanto. I was so impressed with what he had done for me I decided to produce a book trailer based around the song for my novel. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ho3DDDoDtME) Believe me, our Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother took over. I found a recording studio and then a family friend who specializes in website development for the video. And presto, by the grace of God, what you now see was all done in less than ten days from the initial lyrics and music to the youtube video listed above. This was truly a miracle.

               I’ve opted to publish the novel as an ebook first in order to get the word out along with this inspirational book trailer. I will then either publish a paper version myself or go with a traditional publisher.  You can see my other book titles at: http://myheritageculture.com  These other books are nonfiction bilingual cultural compendiums on the significant contributions made to western civilization by Italians/Italian Americans and the Hispanic cultures. The titles: Heritage Italian-American Style and Heritage Hispanic-American Style. I’ve been blessed to sell over 12,000 paper editions of these books to date. I’ve just recently turned them into ebooks to join my novel.
