The Book Marketing Network

For book/ebook authors, publishers, & self-publishers

Many times authors freely use scripture in their books without looking into permissions. If you are looking for both guidelines and peace of mind, visit the following sites for information on "Permissions to Quote" and "Copyright Legalities".

In many cases, it's much easier than you think.

These people are rip offs!Freely you have recieved ,freely give!.The bible is thousands of years old = public domain= no infringement. If you to use the exact wording of a particular version ,yes, but to quote scripture?never! If any one is worried about this find a version of the 1611 King James bible . an old one ( if 50 years old or so =in public domain =you don't pay a cent.). I'd love for one of these crooks of Gods word to try and sue me , they'd never be able to prove what version I  use. Use original English translations of the majority texts and you will never pay a cent. The majority texts are free from the corruptions of the Alexandrian texts (influenced by gnosticism ), which a lot of modern versions rely on heavily.Do a little research into the corruptions/additions/deletions in a lot of modern versions and you wouldn't want to use them any way.
