Inspired by my friends, R&B Pratcher who sent me a pic of
The Black Swan Dance. While looking at the pic and
listening to Dozie's "Gabriel's Lounge", this is what came to me.

She danced on the floor of water
Her feet told a story,
Wrapped in love
She danced like an angel
With swans by her side, synchronously.

The beat led her around the dance floor
Her hands were touching souls,
Her body held you captive
And the rhythm took you away
Nature was in awe of her.

Kingdoms bowed
Her eyes magnetized,
The water followed her shadow
Then the rain came
Wash everything away.

In place of her dancing
Rose a mist,
It flowed throughout the land
In the distance you can still hear the beat
Taking on her personna, the mist danced.

Per my comment on your blog:
Totally enjoyed this. The essence of it brought to mind Victoria Rowell's memoir, THE WOMEN WHO RAISED ME. She's a celebrated actress and author now but she grew up in foster care homes and her gifts as a dancer played a major part in helping her establish herself in the world.
