Actually it may not be all that bad, in my case I do not really know all that much about it. I am just trying to find out some information. Some of my writing was done for Helium.com, webook.com and literary contests and needs some revising, unfortunately because of work and engineering school I have not had that much time to work on it. Also my characterization needs work too, I have written book reviews and translated poetry and stories from English to Spanish, but I need to get better at writing fiction.
good luck with your writing

My writing is fine, but my topics are a nightmare. I've had to get used to rejection from every corner and it has taught me one thing that I'll share with you. If you have somethng to say and you feel passionate about it (keyword here is "Feel" not "Think"), then write! The other skills will come with practice and commitment. Learning to write is a never-ending journey. Feeling (again that word) is a gift from God. It is a message that you care, that you have a point of view, and that it matters. The rest is details and God doesn't sweat the details. Best of luck!
