Something About Me and My Book:
A true "mutt," my heritage is a mixture of English, Irish, and Native American. I am first and foremost, a proud Southern Belle, born and raised in Newnan, Georgia, but I have been in Florida long enough to be an "honorary" native.

I have been writing since I was a teenager, heavily influenced by the work of Kathleen Woodiwiss and Margaret Mitchell. Fiction is my passion, but I have also written non-fiction articles for national publications as well.

I am also interested and actively involved with art. In 1998, I started selling repainted fashion dolls on ebay under the name "LOVELY PAINTED LADIES."

Most of the dolls were dressed in period costumes and accompanied by a romantic short story. Soon the stories began to get as much attention as the dolls. My clients, and even absolute strangers, urged me to write a book.

So... I pulled out the novel I'd begun years ago, dusted it off and spent a year re-writing it. The result was my first historical romance novel, "THE PRICE OF EDEN." The story takes place during the events leading up to the last, and final, Seminole Indian War. My second book in the Florida series, "FAR FROM PARADISE," was released in March 2006. Both books have been well received, and I'm quite proud of the glowing reviews that continue to come in. Both novels are available at Amazon.com. Hi! I tried to open your web page but yahoo could not find it. Just thought you should know. Thanks for your note. Your book looks interesting. Turks are fascinated by the American Indians (AI). It is believed that some are distantly related to Turkic peoples of CIS, Kazakhs, Kirghiz, etc., Often they ask for books about the AI at my bookstore. If you know about Shamanism they have a type of similar practice among the AI-the witch doctor. Anyway... if you ar interested ni learning more about ramadan read my column to learn what it is like to live in the ME during Ramadan? Copy & paste:
