Something About Me and My Book:
As a life coach and employment counsellor, I've spent the last twelve years designing and facilitating government programs for clients in employment transition. Then came the day when I finally needed to listen to my soul's calling (and the requests of my clients!) to write my non-fiction book! So I took a leap of faith and left my "normal" corporate world of 9-5 in April 2007 in order to complete my manuscript. What a great decision with amazing results! The people I have met along my journey have been an inspirational part of my process.

    Thank you for your kind words, and being my friend. There is still a stigma with suicide and people just don't want to talk about it in public.
    Last weekend I had a booksigning, and people stopped and looked at the books, and went into the store to buy them at the register. I must have spoken to at least 25 older men about their grandchildren. Knowing that I may be helping them is such a wonderful reward.
