    Feon, I don't really understand your comment made on my website about using software for translation. As a professional translator I would have to say that translation is much more than just knowing two languages, but being able to translate the essence, emotions and feelings behind a text so that it gives the same echo of resonance in the heart and mind of the native speaker of the new language. I doubt that a translation program is good enough to do this. We have all laughed at examples such as translating "it is raining cats and dogs" from English literally! In particular, for poetry it is even more of a complex task, as you may need to translate the rhythm, rhyme or melliflous flow or other literary device that the poet has chosen to use.
