So about me, Jennie Withers. My first priority is being a mom. I am lucky to have two daughters, eight and five, who teach me something new every day. I am also stepmom to a very intelligent fifteen year old. I am married to a great guy who lets me, be me. We live and play in Boise, Idaho.

I graduated from Boise State University in Boise, Idaho - GO BRONCOS! I started teaching in 1996. That's a long time to be in high school. I have taught Sophomore and Senior Language Arts, Reading, Creative Writing and Technical Reading and Writing.

I enjoy watching (particularly Boise State football) and playing sports. I am an Idahoan so outdoor activities such as camping, hiking and fishing are a must. Of course, reading and writing are also important in my world.

This book venture is not all about me, however. I am just the author. Denise Dunlap-Taylor is my editor, my business consultant, my technology guru and all the things that make my eyes glaze and my mind numb when they come up. I call Denise my Yoda. I also have Lisa Hlavinka who takes care of the graphic design of the books. I didn't know how visually challenged I was until she came on board.

So that's about it for me.

Thank you for your comments. I am getting to be quite busy so that is good. If you know of anyone to send my way, I'm at www.heygetajob.com Why are you on here if I may ask?

A good question. I am a published author and I have a Gift Publishing business. You can find out more at www.dreamscapepublishing.com Though writing is my passion, I am equally serious about our kids' education and training. I think a strong educational foundation, is the key to their success, and I think a book like yours could help to foster an attitude for motivation that is missing from their lives today. Just my opinion.
