Something About Me and My Book:
Howdy! I am the author of two romantic suspense novels, WIDOW'S TALE and ROGUE WAVE.

Both are blustery, dark romances, set in Maine in the heart of winter. Fortunately, my next novel, EYE OF THE SUN will take us to the Guatemalan jungle so we can warm up!

About WIDOW'S TALE

Serena Murphy was losing her mind.

Every night Serena stood on the deck of O'Flanagans Tavern, searching Maine's rugged coast for a sign of her husband's body. Though he was pronounced lost at sea, Alan Murphy still haunted her as only his malevolent spirit could. In the loft above her tavern, Serena hears footsteps pace across her living room floor, yet when she turns, no one is there.

Alan would not let a little thing like death stop him from tormenting her. If she could just find his body, surely this torture would stop.

It had been ten years since Brett Murphy saw his sister in-law, although the separation was by design, to avoid temptation. Now Brett was in Victory Cove, not to declare his feelings for Serena, but to discover the truth about his brother's death. In doing so, he must battle Serena's ghosts, both real and contrived.

You show every well for a person who does not exist. But, the life of most of us who write for a living is rather obscure anyway.

Speaking of spirits, my family has had so many friendly spirits in our lives I couldn't count them all. When my wife and I married, she moved into my new Florida home and she first realized even though we were the first owners, someone was already living in the house. He was still there when we moved twenty years later, but we loved that funny black man. He was quiet for the most part, he loved us and watched us as he would his own family. I don't know where he came from, but something about him reminded me of one of my students who drowned while I was teaching. He was one of my favorite students and I was his favorite teacher. Who knows who the spirit was, but when we moved to N C, he didn't come with us. Dr M

I thought I'd send you this red ribbon, Maureen because, well, because it's free and I can afford that! Have a happy red ribbon day... um, St. Patrick's Day, that is.
