Simon, your book "Private Lives" arrived today, and looks very interesting. I'm in the middle of "The Help" right now, but your book is next. I'll let you know how I like it.
Simon, I enjoyed your book "Private Lives" very much. For such an unusual plot, you handled it very well. I thoroughly enjoyed your descriptive "sense of place" throughout the book. It is a great love story, also. My only disappointment was that it ended too abruptly. However, the epilogue left me feeling happy and hopeful. Private Lives is a great read and totally believable - at least to me.
Marie,
I'm so glad you enjoyed Private Lives, a critique like yours leaves one feeling pleasantly warm inside. It is a difficult book to describe to potential readers so I'm doubly grateful to you for deciding to take the plunge. Would you mind posting your critique on http://www.amazon.com/Private-Lives-Simon-Marshland/dp/1905809522/r... my Amazon page. It's a bit bare right now though if you would rather not I quite understand.
