New York, 1960. Democratic hopeful John F. Kennedy and Vice President Richard Nixon stride the campaign trail toward the White House, the Russians send a dog into space, America is introduced to “the pill”… and an 18-year-old kid who has always dreamed of becoming a man of Madison Avenue lands his first job as the lunch-boy of prominent New York ad agency Dunn & Drake.

And for young Benjamin Brookes, his career in advertising launches like a NASA rocket after the company’s dashing Creative Director, Daniel Drake, discovers the inspiration and ideas brewing inside the firm’s handsome new lunch-boy.

Before long, Ben not only becomes Drake’s young protégé, but the suave and sophisticated Drake soon gets more than Ben’s creative juices flowing.

But will Ben become so wrapped up in a world of limousines and lobster lunches that he’s willing to leave his working-class loved ones behind? What is the scandalous secret lurking in Daniel Drake’s past? Is true love on the agenda, or is this affair simply a case of ‘sex sells’?

What will it take to become a man of Madison Avenue?
