Chasing Snow is the third book in the Street Business Trilogy. These are fictional books with some of the stories based on events that occurred in and around the New England and New York, as well as areas throughout the USA. Most of the stories were created by the author from years of living with and around the criminal element in a deep undercover capacity using the guise of Eddie Pannoni.

Most of the events are based on fact and some of the events in these books have been telescoped to improve dramatic flow

The Characters in this book are fictionalized versions of individuals who may or may not have a relationship to the real individuals and who may or may not exist at all.

Many locations in Chasing Snow are fictional. Most Characters in these books are a composite of several people or completely fictional characters with one exception, Detective Ernie Lijoi Sr. whose work as an undercover officer and as a member of the Quincy Police Department in Massachusetts and consistently abolished major narcotics dealers, weapons dealers and organized crime rings. Detective Ernie Lijoi Sr. is the detective who assisted both Federal and local agencies upon request throughout his career.

Detective Ernie Lijoi Sr. a retired detective with the City of Quincy, Massachusetts was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. At 17 he enlisted in the United States Air force, and was honorably discharged in 1964.He married a Girl from Dedham, Massachusetts. The town of Dedham became their home for over 35 years. He later graduated from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts with a degree in the Science of Law Enforcement. He also completed courses of instruction in narcotics and dangerous drug laws given by the United States Department Of justice and was awarded a certificate by the powers of the Attorney General of the United States of America. During his career he became well known as a deep undercover investigator under the name of Eddie Pannoni.
