Easter is not celebrated for the coloring and hunting of eggs, chocolate bunnies, and cute ensembles for our children. However, it is a day that is celebrated for the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Instead it should be a reminder for some, and an invitation for others. The enemy has established his kingdom here on earth invoking the spirits of wickedness to encamp amongst whomever will allow him to. You play with the devil, he too is a spirit. His spirit reigns here on earth seeking out as many as he can to take back with him to dwell forever (eternally). Unlike God the spirit of his son Jesus Christ dwells within us to empower us with the ability to overcome the temptations of evil, diverting us around evil plots that he has not intended for us. The reason for his birth is because we needed a savior (The Christmas Story).

He came to us on earth as a mortal man with immortal power from on-high that could have destroyed every army, pharaoh, devil, emp, etc., but he did not. He came in the flesh to show proof that there is no temptation uncommon to man that he did not experience and that we can not overcome.
