Seth Ethers was inspired at an early age by a young abandoned mother to begin saving money. Beginning when he was a child, Seth picked up cans and other junk to sell, even earning the name Scavenger, so he could save money to fill up his piggy bank. Every time he and his sister Eva filled up their piggy banks, their father would take them into town and put their money into their savings accounts. It wasn’t until after Seth graduated from college and bought the store and house down the road from where he lived that his parents and sister learned his reason for working and saving money while he was growing up.
