Amin Falaq Author of the acclaimed “700 YEARS OF AFRICAN RULE IN EUROPE” (1992), is one of the foremost true nature thinkers of modern times. Disciplined in the doctrine of man’s natural human excellence, Falaq has researched the cultures and histories which mold the cultural trends and traditions of modern societies. Throughout his controversial career, Falaq often references this research to successfully invalidate political, social, and historical views established and held by and about African Americans.
A Joliet Native, former student at St. Joseph's elementary school; Washington Jr. High School, Joliet Central Campus High School andLewis University, Falaq participated in Joliet's American Extravaganza II; The 1stESN Symposium: Beyond Ethnocentrism; is the recipient of the NAACP Role Model Image Award; and was the founder and producer of Joliet's African Cultural Expo which ran annually for five years.
Passionate about enriching his readers and audiences, he teaches themthat they are shareholders in the cultivation of rational life, and that it isthe first step to self-fulfillment. In his book, “NOTES TO MY SON” (2012),
Falaq shares the importance of cultivating the rational life. He writes that,“Life has no form of its own; each individual molds his or her life according to his or her knowledge—or lack of.”
Describing self-fulfillment as the goal of the human aspiration, which is realized by the self-empowering process of self-conquest, Falaq does not apologize for encouraging African Americans to seek race conquest as well. In his essay, “THE SURVIVAL OF THE U. S. NEGRO,” Falaq explains that all races are in competition just as all individuals are in competition because the human spirit is competitive by nature. When accused of being “racist” for his views, Falaq assails his critics saying, “Race consciousness is not racism.” In his book “ADOPTIVE PSYCHOLOGY,” (to be released in later this year) Falaq writes, “Each race should consciously strive to excel all other races in all that is good just as each individual should strive to excel all other individuals in all that is good.” This is the message Falaq proclaims should be taught to all races but has not been taught enough to the African American.
Falaq believes that passion for promoting self-empowerment of the African American individual is a vital step towards the collective productivity of the human spirit of the African American as a true example for all people of rebirth. “The foundation for REMAKING THE WORLD, the seed from which Nicodemus can be ‘Born Again,’ is in the spirit that GD created from the African American experience.”
