Something About Me and My Book:: For the past 15 years Bai Zhong Yan traveled and studied Asian cultures extensively as a researcher for “Asian Studies”. Through the years he saw first hand the way the cultures of the East have been destroyed--making him realize that it would be sad to have a world devoid of cultures that are so rich and colorful.

The idea of Bai Zhong Yan's books came to him when a 90 year old nomad Chief in Mongolia expressed in an interview his anxiety that the nomad youths were beginning to leave their yurts and traditions for the cement buildings and cities far away.
