- I am a freelance artist and musician, and my first novel - The Seduction of Mary Kelly - is a fictionalised account of the life of the supposed final victim of Jack the Ripper. The book follows Mary from her childhood in Wales, through her time in service, to her brief but glittering career in the west end of London, and on to the fall from grace that leads her to the worst street in Whitechapel and her fateful meeting with Jack the Ripper.

Prolific? I suppose I must be as I also have three other novels on the go at present. I just work every hour I can and until Juliet drags me kicking and screaming from the computer.
Your Land Army painting certainly sounds like fun. those girls havelong been inder-exposed (if you know what I mean) for their efforts during the war Good for you Bill.

I see you've mastered the art of sending comments. Well done! The sequel to A Study in Red is going slowly at the moment as I'm busy writing (wait for it) a series of kids books, based on my six rescue dogs. the publisher loves them and they've also accepted two other kids books from me. they will all be illustrated and give me another dimension to my writing. As soon as they're done it will eb back to the streets of Whitechapel for me! hehe
