Daniela Asaro Romanoff est une auteure et journaliste prolifique, qui défend les valeurs du sport et de l'honnêteté historique. Elle a d’ailleurs écrit des livres à ce sujet, en italien et en espagnol. La question cubaine est également présente au sein de ces écrits, comme nous le démontre l’œuvre, Amanecer de Cuba.
