Profile Information

Something About Me and My Book:: I'm a writer, journalist, editor and actor with a recently published "memoirito" called Wow! (11B Press), a funny yet poignant coming-of-age story set in the South Bronx during the 1960's. My brother George Pérez, an acclaimed comic book artist, adds to the book's broad appeal by providing the cover art and interior illustrations.

I currently live in Taos, New Mexico with my wife Veronica Golos, whose second book of poetry, Vocabulary of Silence (Red Hen Press) has also been recently released.
