- Something About Me and My Book:
- I am a Christian, with an abiding interest in and passion for the unity of the Church. I am not a member of the recognized "clergy," but I am a serious student of the Scriptures (and have been for more than 35 years).
My book, "Our Oneness in Christ" (PublishAmerica 2006; ISBN 1424160359), which I co-authored with Lauston Stephens, addresses questions like why Christians often seem indistinguishable from the world and why so many of God's promises so often seem to work only occasionally. It concludes that many of these things seem true because we do not know how to live together in unity at an individual level, or do not care to do so. (It is not a book about Ecumenical efforts to unify denominational organizations, it is a book about living in oneness interpersonally). One reviewer, Dr. Bruce Cook, writing for Reserve Books.com, stated his belief that the movement my book heralds "may be the most significant movement in the Christian church since the Reformation." I am also actively seeking other believers to join me as co-authors of three proposed sequels to "Our Oneness in Christ." A link to a description of these projects is also found on my website.
