Something About Me and My Book:: For my blog Soul Lab, I quip, but rarely quarrel. I feature interviews with authors, artists and experts that influence our culture and open our minds. From spirituality to pop culture, and from parenting to the environment, it is my mission to get to the heart of why people do what they do… and what that means for the rest of us. I strive to inform, entertain and inspire with interviews, reviews and commentary that will make you think, laugh, contemplate and sometimes even give you the courage to make change happen.

I am a writer, producer, radio host, seeker and avid story consumer. I graduated from Emerson College in Boston, MA, with a very useful degree in Writing, Literature and Publishing with minors in mass communications and philosophy (to fall back on). From working as an editorial assistant for Ploughshares literary magazine to reading screenplays in LA for a living, my career has been high brow, low brow and pretty much everything in between. I’ve worked as a public relations pro, Web 2.0 strategist and freelance writer throughout the last 20 years. I landed my favorite job 2 1/2 years ago when I became a mama.
