Something About Me and My Book:
I am married for 21 plus years and I have 3 furry maine coon cats, I am also a volunteer for Nurses with a Mission where we donate and make cloth faced dolls, (like in my profile picture) for children in Medical Mission trips. Email me about this wonderful organizations, along with Vision Quest.

My book is going to be self published this year unless someone wants to publish it. Name of the book is GRANDMA'S POCKET PALS(c)

Synopsis of Grandma’s Pocket Pals(c) 2009

This story takes place when My own Grandmother Sarah placed little notes into a pillow she created, so that she can tell her husband Peter how sorry she was after a disagreement.

To have her thoughts and feelings revealed. She made several of these pillows for her grandchildren over the years. She made one especially for the two characters in this book Alexa and her brother Gavin.

They loved their little pocket pillows. They would add their own love notes and stories, and fairy characters in there too. Gavin the “curious one” discovered that he would open up these love notes that grandma Sarah had and one came alive.

Her name was Countess Connie Confetti. She said that she comes to sprinkle some confetti on his head to give him knowledge, guidance, encouragement and love.

Also to make him smile again.

The other pockets had other characters in them that all were different. Lots of them have their own adventures and succumbed to trials and tribulations in their lives, but isn’t this what is life about anyway?

This book takes a child to know that they are important and allows them to make up their own love notes in the pockets to have meaning in their lives.

I wanted to create something that a child always wanted. To be loved! To have others feel that they need some understanding and creativeness in whatever they encounter.

Gavin and Alexa needed that. They wanted play toys to come alive for them. They were lonely children. Very protective parents. Not allowing them to have friends visit or allow them to go and play outside the house.

So the characters in this book made it possible for these little children to have their imaginable play friends, to keep them busy.

I know this is a fable story, but in fact I have my own Pocket Pillow that I stash my thoughts in, and I have one that I given to other children over the years.

Where they can put their secrets in, and maybe one day a fairy will pop out and play with them. You just never know.

I hope that you will enjoy reading my little book and pass on this fine story and maybe one day you shall make up your own Pocket Pillows for your own children and that you can add a love note or two or a few saying about your life to your own grandchildren and so on.

Thank you for considering this book you will not be disappointed in it.
